Privacy policy & terms
We count what happened. We never read what you wrote.
This page says exactly what the AI Workflow Score command-line tool sends, what BEON.tech keeps, what the public board shows, and the terms you accept by using the service.

01Who we are
The service is built and operated by BEON.tech, a software talent company founded in Buenos Aires in 2018. It runs at two addresses that share one database and one account system: aiworkflowscore.beon.tech for the public site and ai-score.beon.tech for the site BEON.tech's recruiting team uses. Whichever address you use, this page applies.
Questions, corrections and requests about your data go to hello@beon.tech. We answer from that address.
02What the CLI sends
The command-line tool runs on your machine, reads the session logs that your coding agents already keep there, counts what happened, and uploads only those counts. It is open source at github.com/BEON-Tech/ai-score, so every field it sends can be checked against this list.
- Your prompts
- how many, and words per prompt
- Your code and diffs
- lines added and removed
- Commands and their output
- whether a check ran and passed, whether the change was delivered
- The agent's replies
- tool calls, tokens per model, session timing
- File names and paths
- a one-way hash of the project folder, and where each tool keeps its logs
- Repository names and branches
- commits made, pull requests opened
Alongside those counts it sends which coding tools it found and their versions, tokens used per model and the cost the tool estimates from them, its own version, the operating system, processor architecture and Node.js version it ran on, the time window the scan covers, and an opaque identifier for the machine, so that a repeated scan from the same machine is recognised as the same scan rather than stored twice.
It never sends the text of your prompts, your code or diffs, the output of your commands, the agent's replies, the names or contents of your files, the paths inside your projects, repository names or branch names. The only values derived from paths are a one-way hash of each project folder, which lets the score tell projects apart without learning what they are called, and the folder where each coding tool keeps its own logs, which is the tool's standard location rather than anything of yours.
03Your account
You sign in with GitHub. We store the name, email address, avatar and account identifier GitHub returns, and nothing else from your GitHub account: no repositories, no code, no organisation membership. The CLI holds its own sign-in token on your machine, valid for 90 days and renewed while you keep using it. Signing out on the site ends the browser's session only; the CLI's token is revoked when an administrator bans the account, and otherwise lapses on its own. If a machine with a token on it leaves your hands, write to hello@beon.tech and we revoke it.
Each sign-in session records the IP address and browser or CLI identifier it was created from, for security and abuse prevention. Sessions expire and are removed.
04Where you ran the scan
When a scan is uploaded, our hosting provider reads the country, region and city for the connection's IP address, and we store those three values with the scan so the board can be filtered by place. The IP address itself is not stored with the scan. The CLI sends no location of its own, and a VPN or an unknown address simply leaves the location empty.
05What is public
If your account is verified and your latest score is ranked, the public board at aiworkflowscore.beon.tech/leaderboard shows your display name, avatar, score and its breakdown, the coding tools the scan found, the country and city of the scan, how many scans you have run and when the latest was. Your friend-challenge page, if you share one, shows your name, avatar, location, total score and the six dimension scores to whoever opens the link.
Your email address, the raw counts behind the score and your individual scans are never public. They are visible to you on your own pages and to BEON.tech administrators.
You can be taken off the public board at any time: write to hello@beon.tech and an administrator hides your entry. Your account, your scans and your own pages stay as they are; only the public ranking leaves you out.
06Written summaries
After each scan we generate two short written summaries of the result, one for you and one for administrators, using an AI model (Anthropic's Claude, reached through Vercel's AI Gateway). The model receives the score breakdown and the counts behind it, the same numbers listed above. It never receives your prompts or code, because we never have them.
07How we use the data
- To compute your score and show it to you, with its breakdown.
- To rank verified engineers on the public board and run friend challenges.
- To calibrate the scoring itself: bands and thresholds are set against the distribution of real scans, in aggregate.
- If you are in a hiring process with BEON.tech, its recruiters may look at your score as one input among many. They see the same score and breakdown you do.
We do not sell the data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties beyond the processors below.
08Who processes it
- Vercel hosts the site and the upload endpoint, and provides the location lookup at upload time.
- Neon hosts the database that stores accounts and scans.
- GitHub handles sign-in.
- Vercel AI Gateway and Anthropic produce the written summaries from the score numbers.
These providers run in the United States, so data may be stored and processed there.
09How long we keep it
Scans and account data are kept for as long as your account exists, so your history and your place on the board stay consistent. On request we delete individual scans, or your account and every scan it submitted. There is no self-service button for that yet, so it is done by us, within the window below. We may keep aggregate, non-identifying statistics.
10Your choices
- See everything we hold about you: your own pages list every scan in full.
- Hide your entry from the public board.
- Have individual scans deleted, or your whole account and everything in it.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or for a correction.
For any of these, email hello@beon.tech from the address on your account. We act within 30 days. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with data-protection rights, those rights apply in full and the same address is how to exercise them.
11Terms of use
- Run the CLI only on machines and logs you are entitled to analyse, and within your employer's or client's policies. The CLI sends no content, but the decision to run it is yours.
- Submit scans of your own work only, as the tool produced them. Edited or fabricated uploads, and accounts that exist to game the ranking, will be removed and may be banned.
- The score is an estimate built from counts. It is offered as is, it changes as the scoring improves, and BEON.tech makes no promise about any outcome, hiring or otherwise, that follows from it.
- BEON.tech may hide an entry from the board, remove scans or close an account to keep the board honest or to comply with the law, and will say so when asked.
- The CLI is open source under the licence in its repository. The site, the scoring and the content here are BEON.tech's.
12Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change that widens what we collect or publish is announced on the site before it applies.
